Users Consolidation

The headline news for this update is a major change in the way that users log into our directory.

There was a slightly rocky transition at first but we are hopeful that the benefits in the long term will out-weigh any initial niggles.

A single point of log-in

All users now log-in at one place when using the directory, which should make life easier when pointing any user of the web site to the log-in page.

This includes: Brand Mangers, Group Managers, Entry Managers & Registered Users

All users as Users

Brand, Group, Entry Managers and Registered Users are now all "Users" in the system.

All Users:

• can request a reminder of their log-in details from the log-in page
• can be viewed in the Brand Console
• can sign up to mailing lists
• have a single log-in to remember
• can be upgraded to Joomla! administrators

Assign Any User To Any Entry

A brand manager can now assign or re-assign any use to become the administrator of an entry. This should be very handy when it comes to switching control over an entry from one person to another.

A Group log-in without a Group

Brand managers now have the ability to assign one user log-in to administer many entries without creating a surfer facing Group.

A list of all the entries they can administer will be presented to them when they log in.

Award Ratings as Filters

We now have the ability to place an award in filter lists and let users filter result based upon the rating the entry has been granted.

Google Analytics E-commerce / Rental Reserve Booking Integration

We have integrated the Rental Reserve booking screen with the E-commerce section in

This, for example, allows reporting on:

• Conversion Rate
• Visits to Purchase
• Time to Purchase
